GONE - working with Amanda Seyfried

GONE's release is very exciting. I am very grateful to Tom Rosenberg for giving me the role. This is another movie for Lakeshore which they know how to do so well. There are few special effects and the movie is completely dependent on story, direction, actors performance, especially Amanda, and of course production of music, editing and wardrobe and of course cinematography.

I have been acting now for over thirty years and these are the movies I trained for and grew up watching. It is such a pleasure to be in them.

Yes I have worked in all genre' of movies but straight drama, thriller is just great. Amanda was a real pleasure to work with, talented, charming, beautiful and consummate professional.

I hope the audience enjoys watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

GONE: Additional Shoot in Portland

The additional scenes for Gone with Amanda Seyfried were very daring. I think Amanda will get some serious notice with this film. I can't reveal the ending but it is very shocking.
I have an additional scene that tags the movie.
The movie will be released in February I think the 24th actually. The trailer for Gone will be in the theaters with the release of Twilight. There are two shots of me in the trailer also.

House M.D. aka Dr. House - Twenty Vicodin

House was a treat when Greg (Yaitanes, producer) called to offer the role in the new season's premiere episode. Of course I said yes right away. We had met at the Nu Image office; he was working with David Bradley and I was getting ready for Lunar Cop. Hugh Laurie was a generous and collaborative actor. We only had the one scene but still it was great.

Memphis Beat

Well Memphis Beat was a lot of fun. Sam Hennings was a friend and when I finally got to work with him it was a long time coming. Playing a film buff in desperate financial situations in love with his wife sharing a dream was so out of the ordinary. It was kind of like Hope Floats. Normal people going through extreme circumstances. Almost melo drama or maybe kind of like Eugene O'Neal drama.

Just got back from Portland working for Lakeshore on Gone with Amanda Seyfried. I shot my part Lieutenant Ray Bozeman. It was a great experience. Amanda was a great person to work with. And fantastic experience again with Tom Rosenberg after The Lincoln Lawyer.

I don't know what to say .....
When will things calm down there. Another Quake, the nuclear plant still extremely dangerous.
All I can say is you are in my prayers.
I pray and meditate but I have no understanding of the nature of what ever brought us into existence. I know the Hindu say we can no more conceive of the nature of God than an ant can conceive of the nature of man.
The older I get the more I realize how little I know and how little I understand.

Go See The Lincoln Lawyer (III)

Please go to see Lincoln lawyer this weekend. Brad Furman made a great movie from a great book by one of my favorite contemporary authors. Which is so rare when you think of how many times you've said " i think the book was better"..... That is not the case with Lincoln lawyer. Brad did the book justice.

Please go see Lincoln Lawyer one more time this week end. It is the best movie I have been in , in a long time. Brad Furman took a great book and turned it into a great movie. See the movie then please pray for Japan and the rest of us.
